He arose! Something to reflect on!
Beloved, May I suggest that we take a moment to meditate on this popular song from Broadman Hymnal:
1 “Low in the grave He laid;
Jesus my Saviour;
Waiting the coming day;
Jesus my Lord”
2. “Death cannot hold its prey;
Jesus my Saviour;
He broke the bars away,
Jesus my Lord”
Chorus:
Up from the grave He arose!
With a mighty triumph o’er his foes,
He arose, a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives for ever with his saints to reign,
He arose!…He arose! Hallelujah, Christ arose!! ——————————————- Amen! He arose!
For which reasons? That He might ‘supervise’ the impacting of our lives with His ZOE-LIFE in POWER and SANCTIFICATION; to see to it that His WISDOM is imparted in us; to ensure the implantation of His RIGHTEOUSNESS into us. He arose to perpetuate LOVE, PEACE & REDEMPTION in His position as The High Priest of our souls. He eternize His MERCY & KINDNESS on us who will dare to believe in Him. If He is alive to sustain, secure and keep alive His expectations in you and I, why can’t we relax, bask in this glory and give Him all the praise? “He arose, a victor from the dark domain” What can you & I lose, if we trust in His continued LOVE for us? What risk, really, are we taking if we choose to believe in His MERCY towards us? Would it, truly, by any chance, be self-deceit by anchoring our confidence on His promise to be our defense against the forces of the ‘dark domain’ though we seem not to see Him some of the times? No! He arose! I choose to arise in POWER, RIGHTEOUSNESS, SANCTIFICATION and assured REDEMPTION through His blood this day! Hallelujah! Glory! Jubilee is here! “He lives for ever with his saints to reign” To Reign? To Reign, yes! Reign over sicknesses, lack, depression, failure, doubts, sin, fear, oppression, worry, death, temptations, and satanic cloud of attacks. To Reign in love, joy, peace, goodness, forgiveness, kindness, … Praise Him! Happy Easter to you! Tokunbo Oshokoya The Liteman T
