GOOD START FOR EXCELLENCE

SUNDAY SERVICE OF 16TH January 15, 2011
GOOD START FOR EXCELLENCE:
TOWARDS THE END OF 2010, I WAS MINISTERED TO REPEATEDLY BY GOD’S SPIRIT ABOUT A CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF THINGS.
DO NOT SHOVE GOD INTO A CORNER ANYMORE, BUT LET HIM TAKE
PRECEDENCE ON ALL ISSUES OF YOUR LIFE.

SEEK TO PLEASE HIM ALWAYS.

LET GOD BE IN CHARGE!
DETHRONE ALL OTHER GODS.

WORSHIP NO OTHER – NOT YOUR DESIRES,
NOT YOUR AMBITIONS, NOT YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS, NOT YOUR PROPERTIES,
NOT YOUR FAMILY, NOT YOUR MINISTRY, NOT YOUR JOB, NOT YOUR
BEAUTY, NOT YOUR DREAMS, NOTHING BUT GOD.

Isa 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isa 50:5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Isa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

Isa 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Isa 50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
Isa 50:9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

DURING THE 7-DAY FASTING MEETING, I HAD A DREAM IN WHICH AN ENTITY IN COMPANY OF A LESSER ACCOMPLICE FALL DOWN IN TREPIDATION, REGRET, ABSOLUTE SURRENDER AND WORSHIP
THIS ENTITY REPRESENTS OPPRESSION, LAWLESSNESS,
WICKEDNESS, WITCHCRAFT – MANIPULATION/INTIMIDATION/DOMINATION,
ILLEGAL/UNGODLY RULERSHIP OR AUTHORITY,
TYRANNY, AND ALL KINDS OF EVIL WORKS IN A GIVEN ENVIROMENT!

HOWEVER, THIS SPIRIT ENTITY OUGHT TO BE DEAD. I REMEMBER THIS SCRIPTURE

Isa 26:10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
Isa 26:11 LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
Isa 26:12 LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

Isa 26:13 O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
Isa 26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

Isa 26:15 Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
Isa 26:16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
Isa 26:17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

10 Even if you are kind to the evil-doer, he will not go after righteousness; even in the land of the upright he will still go on in his wrongdoing, and will not see the glory of the Lord.
Ps 143:10; Ec 8:12; Ro 2:4
11 Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see: let them see…yes, your haters will be burned up in the fire.
Job 34:27; Ps 28:5; Isa 5:12
12 ¶ Lord, you will give us peace: for all our works are the outcome of your purpose.
13 O Lord, our God, other lords than you have had rule over us; but in you only is our salvation, and no other name will we take on our lips.
2Ch 12
14 The dead will not come back to life: their spirits will not come back to earth; for this cause you have sent destruction on them, so that the memory of them is dead.
NLT
Isa 26:10 Your kindness to the wicked does not make them do good. They keep doing wrong and take no notice of the LORD’s majesty.

Isa 26:11 O LORD, they do not listen when you threaten. They do not see your upraised fist. Show them your eagerness to defend your people. Perhaps then they will be ashamed. Let your fire consume your enemies.

Isa 26:12 LORD, you will grant us peace, for all we have accomplished is really from you.
Isa 26:13 O LORD our God, others have ruled us, but we worship you alone.

Isa 26:14 Those we served before are dead and gone. Never again will they return! You attacked them and destroyed them, and they are long forgotten.

Isa 26:15 We praise you, LORD! You have made our nation great; you have extended our borders!

Isa 26:16 LORD, in distress we searched for you. We were bowed beneath the burden of your discipline.

Isa 26:17 We were like a woman about to give birth, writhing and crying out in pain. When we are in your presence, LORD,

Isa 26:18 we, too, writhe in agony, but nothing comes of our suffering. We have done nothing to rescue the world; no one has been born to populate the earth
.
SO WHAT AM I TRYING TO COMMUNICATE?
WHO WAS ‘ADEDIBU’? WHO WAS ‘ELEWEOMO’?
THEY WERE ROGUISH, NO! RUFFIAN SPIRITS! THEY WERE ILLEGAL , VERY UN-ROYAL , UNCOUTH, CERTAINLY NOT DECOROUS! SOMEBODY CALLED ADEDIBU…..GARRISON COMMANDER!!!
WHAT GARRISON?
1Sa 10:3 Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
1Sa 10:4 And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.

1Sa 10:5 After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:

1Sa 10:6 And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.

HOW COME “…TO THE HILL OF GOD, WHERE THE GARRISON OF THE PHILISTINES ARE LOCATED…”?

THE ‘GARRISON OF THE PHILISTINES’ IN THE HILL OF GOD? YES O

BUT HEAR – They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast GOD visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish!

WHAT HAS GOD SAID?

DAVID EXPERIENCED PERIOD OF SUSTAINED ADVERSITIES TOO.

Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.

2Sa 16:5 And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.
2Sa 16:6 And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.
2Sa 16:7 And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial:
2Sa 16:8 The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
2Sa 16:9 Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.
2Sa 16:10 And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?
2Sa 16:11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.
2Sa 16:12 It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
2Sa 16:13 And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.

2Sa 20:1 And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.
2Sa 20:2 So every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.

PSALM 7

Psa 7:6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
Psa 7:7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

Psa 7:8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

Psa 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Psa 7:10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

Psa 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psa 7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
Psa 7:13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

YES, WHAT LED TO THIS SITUATION, IN THE FIRST INSTANCE?

Psa 119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Psa 119:68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

Psa 119:69 The proud have forged a lie against me:

GOD TRIES THE HEART AND THE REINS.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

GOD EXAMINES YOUR MOTIVES

WE MUST NOW WORK ON OUR MOTIVES BRETHREN!

START THE YEAR WITH A DETERMINATION TO SERVE GOD FAITHFULLY, ACCEPTABLY AND WITH GOOD CONSCIENCE.

STRIVE, PRAY FOR THE GRACE FOR EXCELLENT SPIRIT!

1Co 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but didn’t love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn’t love others, what good would I be? And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody.

If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would be of no value whatsoever.

HOW COME I CAN GIVE ALL I HAVE TO THE POOR, AND NOT HAVE LOVE? MATTHEW 19: 21,22
HOW COME I CAN SACRIFICE MY BODY, AND YET IT IS NOT LOVE?
ARE WE NOT ENCOURAGED TO COVET FOR THE BEST GIFTS? GIFT OF PROPHECY, KNOWLEDGE OF MYSTERIES, ETC?

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE?

MOTIVES!

YOUR MOTIVATION MUST ALIGN WITH GOD’S WILL & PURPOSE OR ELSE YOUR ACTIONS ARE VAIN!

THAT IS WHY THE RIGHTEOUS GOD TRIES THE HEART AND THE REINS!

1Ki 20:35 And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.

1Ki 20:36 Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him.

1Ki 20:37 Then he found another man, and said, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man smote him, so that in smiting he wounded him.

1Ki 20:38 So the prophet departed, and waited for the king by the way, and disguised himself with ashes upon his face.
1Ki 20:39 And as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any means he be missing, then shall thy life be for his life, or else thou shalt pay a talent of silver.
1Ki 20:40 And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, So shall thy judgment be; thyself hast decided it.
1Ki 20:41 And he hasted, and took the ashes away from his face; and the king of Israel discerned him that he was of the prophets.

GOOD CONSCIENCE

Act 23:1 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.

1Ti 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
1Ti 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1Ti 1:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
1Ti 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

1Ti 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
1Ti 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
1Ti 1:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Heb 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Heb 13:18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
Heb 13:19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Heb 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Heb 13:22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

1Pe 3:13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
1Pe 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1Pe 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
1Pe 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

WE MUST EXERCISE OURSELVES!

Act 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Rom 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
Rom 13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
Rom 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

SOMEBODY SAID “BUT I AM SINCERE!”

IS THAT SO?

YES, THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED ‘BEING SINCERELY WRONG’

IMAGINE THAT YOU ARE FLYING ON A 747 OVER THE PACIFIC OCEAN AND YOUR FLIGHT CAPTAIN ANNOUNCES OVER THE PA SYSTEM

…SORRY, WE ARE SINCERELY WRONG BUT WE HAVE MADE A MISTAKE BY APPLYING THE WRONG PROCEDURE ON THE PLANE AUTOPILOT, PLEASE PREPARE FOR A CRASH… WE ARE SINCERELY WRONG….

WHAT WILL BE YOUR REACTION?

BRETHREN, WHETHER YOU ARE SINCERE OR NOT, WRONG IS WRONG!

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

BEING PLAIN WRONG IRREVOCABLY AND
BEING SINCERELY WRONG

IS THAT

THE SINCERE IN HEART CAN, REPENT, CORRECT HIS WAYS, LEARN THE WAY OF WISDOM AND CHANGE IF GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE.

ARE YOU LIKE THAT?

Isa 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
Isa 30:2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
Isa 30:3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

Isa 30:8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
Isa 30:11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Isa 30:12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

HOWEVER FOR THE SINCERE,
Isa 30:15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

Isa 30:18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

Isa 30:19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

Isa 30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
Isa 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isa 30:22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
Isa 30:23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

THE KEY IS:

he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Php 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
